Sommer in Schladming
Ein unvergesslicher Sommer in den Bergen
Die Lage zwischen Dachsteingebirge und den Tauern bietet Wanderern und Aktivurlaubern auch im Sommer ein abwechslungsreiches Bergsportangebot auf allen Höhenstufen.
Es warten allein 1.000 km markierte Wanderrouten. Der neu errichtete Bike Park auf der Planai bietet unter anderem die mit 4,5 km längste Downhill Strecke Österreichs. Sie führt vom Planai Gipfel bis ins Planai Stadion.
Daneben gibt es in der Region weitere 200 km Mountainbike und Radstrecken. Außerdem sorgt eine 7 km lange Sommerrodelbahn auf der Hochwurzen für Abwechslung. Im Sommer bietet insbesondere der Dachstein eine hochalpine Erlebniswelt. Der Dachstein Sky Walk (Aussichtsplattform auf 2.700 Metern Höhe) und der Dachstein Eispalast (Eiswelt im Inneren des Gletschers) bilden die größten Highlights.
Summer mountain adventure
The location between the Dachstein Mountains and the Tauern offers hikers and active holiday makers varied Alpine sports facilities at all altitudes, including in the summer.
There are 1,000 kilometres of marked hiking routes. Among other things, the newly established bike park on Planai Mountain features Austria‘s longest, 4.5 km downhill trail. It leads from the top of Planai to the Planai stadium. Apart from that, there are a further 200 km of bike and mountain bike trails in the region. In addition, a 7 km long dry toboggan run presents an interesting opportunity to experience something new.
In the summer, especially Dachstein offers plenty of Alpine adventures. The Dachstein Sky Walk rests on a 250 m high cliff like an eagle nest and is probably the most famous and spectacular observation platform in the Alps.
